Donald Hamm is a full time professional artist with studios in High River, Alberta. Studied art at the University of Saskatchewan in the 1970’s. Donald spent a decade making furniture in exotic hardwoods (decorated with patinated copper, carving and painting) before committing to painting. Since 2000 he has worked primarily in oils exploring themes including ‘evidence of lives lived’ as well as landscape and portrait work. His agents include Masters Gallery, Calgary; Gust Gallery, Waterton and Art and Soul Gallery, High River. His work is in collections across Canada and the United States. Has had numerous solo and groups shows and, in addition to the galleries above, has shown work at Front Gallery, Edmonton and Wallack Galleries, Ottawa.
