Harry Palmer enjoyed a three decade career as an engineer before turning his attention to photographic art. In 1992, he gave the first solo exhibition in the new Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography. Harry Palmer's work has been exhibited internationally, and is represented in many public institutions across Canada. He has published two books of his work: Places & People in 1983, and 125 Portraits in 1992.
